The British Paramedic Journal is committed to publishing high-quality research and increasing the evidence-base for the paramedic profession. As such, the scope of the journal is specific to topics that directly relate to paramedic practice both in the UK and internationally.

We publish original research, literature reviews, case reports, best evidence topics, research methodology, clinical audits, service evaluations, short reports and quality improvement articles.

The British Paramedic Journal is owned and funded by the The College of Paramedics; the recognised professional body for paramedics and the ambulance profession in the UK.

Journal subscriptions

If you are a member of the College of Paramedics, you can are entitled to free access to the journal. Simply visit the journal page on the College of Paramedics website. You can also subscribe to the journal for a fee, just visit the subscription page for individuals or institutions as appropriate.
